Grapefruit and melon aromas play among hints of minerals and fresh herbs on the nose. Fairly round on the palate, flavors of honeydew, white peach, and citrus are complimented by whispers of bell pepper and wet stone. Approachable, with a balanced acidity, open when serving shrimp tacos.

One is drawn in by aromas of blueberries, blackberries, and currants with notes of brown spice and cedar, and dark chocolate backing them up. The palate takes shape with flavors of ripe dark berry coming up front and flowing into nuances of clove, chocolate, and cedar. Big, fruity, and a little jammy, it's an ideal wine for BBQ dishes.
