The Macallan Unveils The 1978 Fine & Rare Vintage

The Macallan, the world's most admired single malt Scotch whisky, has unveiled a new release to its highly regarded Fine & Rare collection, the 1978 vintage. This highly exclusive spirit offers a unique taste of oak spice, orange and delicate peat smoke with a soft and silky finish, and will be limited to five bottles in the US market this year with a suggested retail price of approximately $11,700 USD per 750ml bottle.
