Review:
Inviting aromas of citrus fruits, flint, and wild herbs
weave together on the nose. Grapefruit, lime, and peach
lead the way on the palate, flowing into whispers of minerals
and fresh thyme. There's a welcoming roundness and a balanced
acidity in this wine, making it a very good buy for under
$15.

Review:
Tropical and citrus notes are in harmony with accents
of minerals and herbs on the nose. Grapefruit, pineapple,
and lemon are at the forefront of the palate, with touches
of minerals and fresh cut grass in the background. Not
one of those crisp, mouth-puckering Sauv Blanc, it's got
an inviting roundness and ample fruit.

Review:
One is drawn in by a nose of melon, grapefruit, and flint.
Green apple and honeydew melon play with suggestions of
lime zest and minerals on the palate. Well balanced, with
a friendly acidity and welcoming roundness, on the palate,
it's a great wine to open with your favorite shellfish.

Morgan
2015 Sauvignon Blanc
Winery:
Morgan
Grape(s):
Sauvignon
Blanc
Region: Monterey
County, California
Year:
2015
Special Designation: n/a
Farming Certification:

Price: 15-20
Review:
There's some depth on the nose as herb and grass wrap
around tropical and citrus fruits. The palate is nice
and round with passion fruit, guava, ruby red grapefruit,
and lime flavors conversing among a grassy backdrop. It's
California richness crossed with New Zealand herbaceous.
A rather unique take on Sauv Blanc.
