Teatro Goldoni, will be the Washington D.C host to Italian Week's
festivities featuring the wines, olive oils and cuisine interpretations
of the Puglia region of Italy. Chef Enzo will be preparing his
tasty morsels with an eye to the traditional, coupled with his
own propensity to add his own special twist to things. “
I like to take a traditional recipe, destroy it, and put it
back together my own way," Enzo says with a smile of anticipation
in his voice.
Puglia
is known for its rich tasting, full flavored ingredients, and
Italian born and raised Chef Enzio Fargione has the skill and
know-how to present these flavors to their American constituency.
Black Truffle Chicken Liver Pate, luscious mozzarella flown
in from the Salento region of Puglia, is just the tip of the
iceberg for visitors during Italian Week.
