Elixirs to Toast Hollywood's Biggest Night

the 87th Annual Academy Awards just around the corner,
we wanted to share some Oscar-inspired cocktails to help
toast Hollywood's biggest night! So, as you gather with
family and friends to watch this year's Academy Awards
on Sunday, February 22nd, be sure to mix up one of these
elegant sips and raise a glass to all the nominees.
The
Selma 65- inspired by the film, Selma
Selma65 is the perfect bubbly concoction
to toast Director Ava DuVernay's Oscar-nominated Selma,
set in 1965, for any viewing bash.
Ingredients:
3/4 ounces Bombay Sapphire gin
1/2 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 shot of sugar syrup
Top with Martini Persecco
Procedures:
1. Shake the first three ingredients
with ice and strain into champagne glass, then top with
champagne and lightly stir.

Garnish with a lemon twist.
The
Sondheim Sour- inspired by the film, Into the Woods
The Sondheim Sour offers the perfect
cocktail to honor the talented composer, Stephen Sondheim.
Ingredients:
2 parts Disaronno
1 part fresh lemon juice
1/4 part simple syrup
Procedures:
Shake ingredients and strain over ice in a glass.
The
Moore Ginger Fizz- inspired by the film, Still Alice
A nod to Julianne Moore's flowing
red locks.
Ingredients:
1 part DEWAR'S(r) WHITE LABEL(r) Blended Scotch Whisky
3 parts ginger beer or ale
Orange wedge
Procedures:
1. Fill pint glass with ice and add DEWAR'S
WHITE LABEL.
2.
Top with ginger and garnish with an orange wedge.
The
Christopher - inspired by the film, The Imitation Game
A beautiful balance of gin and vermouth,
this cocktail is inspired by the wits of the British heroes
in the film.
Ingredients:
1.5 oz. Bombay Sapphire Gin
1.5 oz. Martini Dry Vermouth
2 dashes Orange Bitters
Lemon Twist
Procedures:
1. Stir ingredients well over ice in
a mixing tin and strain into a cocktail glass.

Garnish with a lemon twist
