San Francisco Wineries Make Their Mark

By FBWorld Team

San Francisco doesn't necessarily come to mind as part of California's wine-scape. While clearly none of the grapes are grown in the city, we recently sampled a couple of wineries producing some very notable bottles from their locations on Treasure Island. Sourcing their fruit from the North Coast, Winery SF and Sol Rouge made quite an impression with our tasting panel. So, next time you make it into San Francisco be sure to check them out. You'll get to try some great wines without the long drive into "actual" wine country.
