Festive, Colorful Cocktails For Your July 4th Celebrations

With the Fourth of July just around the corner, there's no better way to celebrate this all-American holiday than with festive,colorful cocktails. Here are a few that are sure to make your celebration special. Cheers and Happy 4th!

Twisted Bocktail

Ingredients:
1 1/4 parts Tres Agaves Reposado
3/4 part Lemon
1/2 part Cointreau
1/2 part Simple Syrup
Hefeweisen

Procedures:
Combine all ingredients minus the beer; shake and strain into a highball. Top with beer and garnish with lemon.

Island Time Spritz

Ingredients:
1 part Sugar Island Coconut Rum
1 part Pineapple Juice
3/4 part Lemon Juice
3/4 part Aperol
1/4 Simple Syrup
Sparkling Rose

Procedures:
Combine together over ice. Garnish with pineapple chunks on a skewer.

Honeydew Agua Fresca Margarita

Makes 8-10 servings

Ingredients:
12 cups Honeydew, (seeded and cubed (appx 4 lbs, depending on water content)
1/2 cup Water*
1/4 cup Lime Juice*
8 tbs Agave Simple Syrup (50:50 water and agave nectar)
8 oz Soltado Spicy Añejo Tequila
Top Soda
Garnish: Jalapenos, Lime Slices

Procedures:
Add the melon, lime juice, simple syrup, and water to a blender, and puree gently. Press through a mesh strainer into a pitcher, cover and refrigerate at least two hours, or overnight.

The Watermelon Crawl

Ingredients:
1 oz. American Born Moonshine Original
1 oz. Watermelon Schnapps
4 oz. Lemon-Lime Soda

Procedures:
Fill rocks glass with ice, pour ABM Original, add schnapps, top with lemon-lime soda.
