National Sandwich Month Recipes

What better way to celebrate the month of August (National Sandwich Month) than with healthy, new lunchmeats? The folks at Hillshire Farm Naturals shared a couple quick and delicious sandwich recipes with us. All you need is five minutes and the following ingredients:


California-Style Turkey

Ingredients:
2 slices Wheat Bread
1 oz. Herb Mayonnaise
6 slices Hillshire Farm® Naturals Slow Roasted Turkey
1/2 Avocado, (peeled, thinly sliced)
2 slices Monterey Jack Cheese

Procedures:
1. Then simply spread mayonnaise on one slice of bread and top with Hillshire Farm® Naturals ™ Black Forrest Ham, avocado slices, and Monterey Jack cheese.

2. Lastlty, top it off with that second slice of bread and you're good to go!


All-American Club

Ingredients:
3 slices White Bread
2 tbsp. Mayonnaise
2 tbsp. Bacon Bits (or 2 slices of precooked bacon, crumbled)
3 slices Hillshire Farm® Naturals™ Black Forest Ham
3 slices Hillshire Farm® Naturals™ Slow Roasted Turkey
1 slice American Cheese
Tomato Slices
Field Greens

Procedures:
1. Toast your bread

2. Blend mayonnaise and bacon pieces in a small bowl

3. Spread that bacon mayo on your toasted bread slices

4. Add ham, turkey, cheese, tomato slices and field greens
