Miss Mother's Day Brunch Cocktails

When
it comes to Mother's Day, there are two acceptable
ways to start her day: greet Mom with breakfast on a tray,
or treat her to a lavish brunch. We prefer the latter.
So here are a few cocktail recipes from Azzurre spirits
perfect to liven up the mid-morning meal.
Reverse
Bloody Mary

Makes:

Ingredients:
4 oz. Azzurre Vodka
4 oz. Tomato Juice
1 tbls. Fresh Lemon Juice
1 tbls. Worcestershire Sauce
3 dashes Hot Pepper Sauce
1⁄4 tspn. salt
Fresh Ground Black Pepper
1 tspn. Horseradish (optional)
Garnishes:
pickled green beans, olives, celery, tomatoes
Glass:
rocks
Procedures:
1. The night before: In a blender, combine
all ingredients except vodka.
2.
Pour into an ice tray, freeze.
3.
When ready to serve: Take the ice tray out about 10 minutes
before serving to allow frozen tomato mixture to thaw
slightly.
4.
In a rocks glass, add the ice, and top with vodka.
5.
Stir 10 times to release juices.
6.
Garnish as desired.
Azzurre
Mama-Tea-To
Ingredients:
2 oz. Azzurre Gin
1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
1 oz. Brewed Green Tea
3/4 oz. Agave Nectar
Crushed Ice on Top
Garnish:
Mint Sprig
Procedures:
1. In a rocks glass, combine all ingredients,
muddle.
2.
Top with crushed ice.
3.
Garnish with a mint sprig.
Azzurre
Lavender Collins
Ingredients:
1.5 oz. Azzurre Gin
.75 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
.5 oz. Lavender Syrup
Top club soda
Procedures:
1. Lemon wedge and lavender sprig for
garnish.
2.
Squeeze lemon into a Collins glass to release juice and
oils.
3.
Add lavender syrup and Azzurre gin.
4.
Stir and fill with ice.
5.
Top with club soda and garnish with a lemon wedge and
lavender sprig.
