Cocktails for Barbecue Season

Whether you're planning a block party for the neighborhood, grilling with the family, or partying beachside, there's no denying that barbecue season is here! We've created these large format cocktails to pair with your favorite summertime menu, and keep you feeling cool and refreshed.

Prep them the day ahead, and refrigerate overnight. A few simple garnishes just before serving, and you'll be ready for a crowd!

Watermelon Mint Agua Fresca

Makes 8-10 servings

Ingredients:
12 cups Watermelon, (seeded and cubed (appx 4 lbs, depending on water content)
1/2 cup Water*
1/4 cup Lime Juice*
8 tbls. Simple Syrup*
32 Mint Leaves
8 oz. Azzurre Vodka
Top Soda

Garnish: mint sprigs, lime slices

Glass: Collins

Procedures:
1. Add the watermelon, lime juice, simple syrup, and water to a blender, and puree gently.

2. Press through a mesh strainer into a pitcher, cover and refrigerate at least two hours, or overnight.

3. Add 4 large mint leaves to a glass, muddle.

4. Add ice, pour in the watermelon agua fresca.

5. Add vodka and soda, stir.

6. Garnish as desired.

Summertime Cobbler

Makes: 8

Ingredients:
8 oz. Azzurre Vodka
8 oz. Fresh Sour Mix
4 oz. Pomegranate Syrup
1 cup Fresh Raspberries
1 cup of peach slices, divided
4-5 Lemon Verbena Sprigs
Soda Water

Garnish: fresh raspberries, mint

Procedures:
1. In a shaker, muddle raspberries, half of the peaches, half of the vodka, and lemon verbena.

2. Add half of the sour mix pomegranate syrup and ice, shake.

3. Pour mixture, plus remaining ingredients into a pitcher and top with soda.

4. Stir.

5. Serve on the rocks, garnished with additional raspberries, peaches, and mint.

Back Porch (Adult) Lemonade

Ingredients:
Crushed ice
8 oz. Azzurre Vodka
16 oz. Lemonade
4 oz. Limoncello
Small bunch Mint Leaves
2 oz. Soda Water

Garnish: lemon slice and mint sprig

Procedures:
1. Muddle mint, half of the limoncello, and half of the vodka in a shaker.

2. Fill with ice, shake.

3. Strain into a pitcher, along with the rest of the ingredients.

4. Add the soda water, stir to mix.

5. Serve in a tall glass, garnished with mint and lemon slices.
