Recipe: Chocolate Orange Protein Pancakes

This
out-of-the-box recipe helps you get a protein fix either
for breakfast or as a late-night snack. The chocolate
orange pancakes are made best baked thin, stacked with
fresh fruit slices in between and your favorite sauce
drizzled on top!

Orange Protein Pancakes
Makes:
2
Ingredients:
2 scoops of Chocolate Protein World Slender Blend Protein
Powder
1/4 cup of Almond or Coconut Flour
1/2 tspn. Baking Powder
1tspn. melted Coconut Oil
1tspn. Honey
Zest of 1 Orange
1/2 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk (you may need a bit more
depending on consistency)
Toppings
Optional:
Mixed berries, peanut butter, drizzle of honey... or dark
chocolate sauce if you're having a cheat!
Procedures:
1. Combine the Slender Blend protein,
flour, baking powder, milk, melted coconut oil and honey
2.
Blend thoroughly until the mixture is a smooth consistency
and runny then add in orange zest and mix well
3.
Set a frying over a medium heat and use a little Protein
World coconut oil to grease the pan
4.
When hot, add the mixture around 2 dessert spoons at a
time, and cook for 1 minute each side or until golden
5.
Layer up the pancakes and serve with banana slices, berries,
orange zest and any other toppings you would like!
